Nursing Team
Our qualified practice nurse has applicable skills in cervical screening, immunisations (including travel), contraceptive and sexual health advice, wound care and other aspects of physical care of patients in general practice. Our practice nurse is also trained to support the management of long-term conditions such as diabetes, asthma and other chronic disease management.
Clinical Pharmacists
Our clinical practice pharmacists work together with our doctors to manage common and minor ailments, ensure your repeat prescriptions are administered safely within our two working day rule and undertakes internal audits, service developments and medicine optimisations and reviews.
Allied Clinical Team
Our allied clinical team include a diverse range of health professionals who provide patients with more specialist care in the community. They enrich our clinical team, providing a unique skill-set in their associated specialty.
Health Care Assistants
Our Health Care Assistants (HCAs) work under the supervision of our Practice Nurses to provide care to patients needing a variety of physical tests and other aspects of care to support the management on long-term conditions.
This may include blood tests, ECGs, health checks, 24-hour blood pressure monitors, some injections for adults, simple wound care, spirometry, smoking cessation counselling, etc.
Patient Advisors and Care Navigation Team
Our experienced patient advisors and care navigators are the first point of contact for all patients and are here to help you in booking appointments, answering queries and directing you to the most appropriate service based on your medical needs. They can help you set up patient online access and update your contact details so the surgery can keep you informed of new services.
